kado

Edge. (of pattern or scale?)

Kado-gin

Ginrin scalation in which only the posterior edge of the scale glitters.

kagami-goi

Mirror (doitsu) carp with no scales at all.

kage

Hazy or "phantom" pattern of the ground colour.

Kage-Showa

Showa with the white ground revealing kage scalation.

karasu

Black as in "crow".

Karasugoi

koi that is black all over.

kasane-zumi

Sumi markings overlapping onto hi markings.

Kasu-gin

Ginrin scalation that has an irregular arrangement of glitter along the edge of the scale.
